We are currently building multiple 4-man work crews, so there is opportunity for steady work and advancement if you prove yourself.
Job Duties
• Assist carpenter with rough carpentry and remodeling
• Cutting lumber and materials
• Operating power tools and saws
• Job site preparation and cleanup
• Loading and unloading materials
• Picking up building materials from suppliers
• General labor and job site assistance
Pay
• Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour
• After 2 weeks (if you work out): $21.50 per hour
• After 1 year: Crew members earn $25+ per hour minimum plus additional compensation for benefits and allowances.
Vehicle Requirement (Important)
You must have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
You must be able to drive yourself to job sites and supply stores when needed.
Sometimes you may use a company work truck to pick up materials.
If you have a pickup truck or work van and occasionally use it to pick up materials for the job, gas/mileage reimbursement will be paid at $0.71 per mile (IRS standard mileage rate).
This job requires transportation that you personally control. Being dropped off by someone else will not work for this position.
Requirements
• Basic construction or carpentry experience
• Ability to safely use saws and power tools
• Must be dependable and show up on time
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable personal vehicle
Preferred (Not Required)
• Basic hand tools (hammer, drill, tape measure, etc.)
• Framing or remodeling experience
• Ability to read a tape measure
