Why buy a Lite instead of a regular Switch?
If you actually play in handheld mode, this is the superior device.
- It’s actually portable: Unlike the massive original Switch, this fits easily in a jacket pocket or small bag. It weighs almost nothing (0.6 lbs), so your wrists don't get tired during long gaming sessions in bed or on a plane.
- The "Real" D-Pad: This model (HDH-001) is the only Switch that comes with a proper, cross-shaped D-Pad. If you play retro games, platformers (like Mario or Celeste), or fighting games, this controls significantly better than the Joy-Con buttons.
